Jenny Gilruth, MSP for Mid Fife and Glenrothes, last week cut the ribbon at “Home Sweet Home Estate Agents” in Markinch as part of their grand opening ceremony.

The local business, owned and operated by Scott Galloway, is a “one-stop-shop” for sales, lettings and conveyancing in the local area, with Mr Galloway heralding over 20 years of experience in the field.

Home Sweet Home is also in the office alongside “Bee Mortgage Wise”, owned by Franki Cummings, who offer a specialist, personalised service in mortgages, protection and insurance advice.

Speaking after the event, Jenny Gilruth MSP said:

“It is fantastic to see another business welcomed to Markinch and it is brilliant that Scott and Frankie have chosen the village to be their hub for their new venture.

Local businesses are the bread and butter of communities like Markinch – I am delighted to support Scott, his wife Shona and Franki moving forward.

The business has already demonstrated real community spirit and support at their opening event and I am sure that both Home Sweet Homes and Bee Mortgage Wise will achieve greater success as they both continue to grow. Congratulations again to both Scott and Franki on their new offices.”

Mr Galloway also commented, saying:

“We really appreciated Jenny & The Team taking time to help launch our new Estate Agency & Mortgage Protection Office in the heart of Markinch .

Our aim is to be an integral part of the local community providing our professional services to our customers under one roof – ‘A One Stop Shop’”
