MOTION TO WELCOME NEW DEFIBRILLATORS AT FIFE COLLEGE
Published date : 30 May 2017
Jenny Gilruth MSP has lodged a motion (S5M-05875) asking the Scottish Parliament to welcome the installation of new defibrillators at Fife College campuses, and to congratulate Fife College Student’s Association for leading and funding the project.
The motion text reads:
“That the Parliament welcomes the installation of defibrillators at all of the Fife College campuses, including those in Glenrothes and Levenmouth, which will be available for the public to access and use; understands that this follows a decision by the college’s students’ association, which also funded the installation; notes that the devices are registered with the Scottish Ambulance Service, which, it understands, is calling for other defibrillators to be registered; encourages more premises to have defibrillators, and applauds the college and the students’ association on what it sees as an important initiative that could play a crucial role in saving lives.”
