MOTION TO CONGRATULATE GLENROTHES STROLLERS COMMUNITY FOOTBALL CLUB

Jenny Gilruth MSP has lodged a motion (S5M-06301: “Glenrothes Strollers Community Football Club”) asking the Scottish Parliament to congratulate the Glenrothes Strollrs Community Football Club on their new clubhouse.

The motion text reads:

“That the Parliament congratulates Glenrothes Strollers Community Football Club on securing a newly-completed clubhouse at Over-Stenton Park; welcomes the funding support given to the club for the new clubhouse, including £300,000 from Fife Council’s planning budget, £250,000 from sportscotland and £43,000 from the Fife Council Glenrothes Area Committee local community planning budget; understands that the clubhouse will be officially opened on 25 June 2017; hopes that it will prove to be an outstanding asset, and wishes Glenrothes Strollers Community Football Club every success with its future participation in community football.”
