MOTION TO COMMEND SAINSBURY’S LEVEN SUPPORT FOR FIFE’S YOUNG CARERS

Published date : 25 Aug 2017

Jenny Gilruth MSP has lodged a motion (S5M-07279: “Sainsbury’s Leven Supports Fife Young Carers”) asking the Scottish Parliament to commend Sainsbury’s Leven for donating £4,000 to Fife Young Carers.

The motion text reads:

“That the Parliament commends Sainsbury’s Leven for donating £4,000 to the branch’s charity of the year, Fife Young Carers, which supports young people who care for a family member; understands that the money will pay for opportunities not usually accessible by the carers, such as respite activities and day trips; acknowledges the important work done by both Fife Young Carers and the carers themselves, and wishes Sainsbury’s Leven success in all future fundraising endeavours.”
